Your first osteopathy appointment is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand you and your body.

The session begins with a detailed discussion about your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and goals. This helps identify the root cause of your pain or dysfunction, not just the symptoms.
A physical examination follows, which may include posture assessment, movement tests, and gentle hands-on evaluation. Based on the findings, treatment may begin in the same session using a combination of manual techniques such as soft tissue work, joint mobilisation, stretching, and advice on movement or exercises.
